n accomplished English Lecturer with 10+ years of valuable and insightful experience, well-renowned for the artful maneuvering of stories, bringing characters to life! The poems in the leagues of John Donn and William Shakespeare are the students’ personal best. Being a symbol of a woman leader, in every sense of the word, constantly encouraging the students and rejuvenating colleagues, is one of the many inherent traits and can be demonstrated in past experiences as HOD and “Acting-Principals” at various institutions. The English Language is only one of the many flairs bestowed. As the reputation precedes, organizing various literary events such as JAM, debates, dramatics/plays, as well as various co-curricular events such as conducting Special assemblies, cooking-without-fire, Best Out of Waste, Rangoli, etc., all at once, have left high, unrealistic expectations for those who wish to reach the same heights.
Hailing from the Heritage City of Mysore, B.A. in English was obtained from KendriyaVishwavidyalaya, Tamil Nadu, whereas M.A. in English was awarded by the KSOU, Mysore University. M.Phil. in English was secured from the Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal with high commendation.
Starting her professional career as an English lecturer in St. Anne’s P.U. College in 2007, she worked for a period of 2 years with a very diverse set of minds. From 2009 to 2014, she headed the P.U. Department at Bangalore City College, as well as handled classes for Degree. In 2014, she was recruited by the Garden City Group of Institutions to handle CBSE classes for 11th and 12th. Presently working as an Asst Professor at the Army Institute of Fashion Design in the hope to continue inspiring and enriching the creative minds of today.
